Brittany and Tyler

Brittany and Tyler’s story began in 2018 in Boston, where a casual afternoon at Harpoon Brewery with friends unexpectedly turned into a meet-cute that would shape their future.

Five years later, they gathered their favorite people for their Lowcountry wedding weekend that felt deeply personal, effortlessly refined, and rooted in place.

Their celebration began along the banks of the May River, where guests welcomed the couple after a private boat ride to an intimate rehearsal dinner at Moreland Landing. The evening reflected a thoughtful blend of their worlds, Lowcountry ease layered with subtle nods to their life in Texas, all wrapped in the warmth of an October evening. Heartfelt toasts from siblings set the tone before a gentle rain ushered guests into a lively welcome party, complete with fireside s’mores—a nostalgic detail Brittany had dreamed of since childhood.

The wedding day unfolded with quiet intention. Brittany and Tyler chose to begin with a private first look and vow exchange, creating space to be fully present with one another before the celebration began. Their ceremony was timeless and understated: a palette of soft whites and greens, a string quartet drifting through the air, and the river as a serene backdrop.

As the evening progressed, the design evolved alongside their story. Cocktail hour introduced subtle layers of color, building into a reception that felt vibrant and immersive, symbolizing a love that has grown richer over time. Every detail was considered: hydrangeas as a nod to their New England roots, a black-framed tent echoing the industrial charm of their beginnings in Boston, and custom elements woven throughout to reflect the places that have shaped them—Massachusetts, Texas, South Carolina, and Montana.

Guests dined, toasted, and celebrated beneath a canopy of intentional design before the dance floor came alive with an unforgettable performance by Party on the Moon. The night concluded with a send-off that felt as elevated as it was joyful, a layered moment of sparklers, cold sparks, and a surprise drone show lighting up the Lowcountry sky.

At its core, Brittany and Tyler’s wedding was about presence, creating space not only for each other, but for the people who have shaped their lives. From their beloved pup Huck joining the ceremony to thoughtfully planned moments with family and friends throughout the weekend, every element reflected the relationships at the heart of their story. It was a celebration that felt as meaningful as it was beautiful—one designed to be fully experienced, remembered, and shared.
